This year, the Kris Kringle Market expands to an entire weekend of festive fun, giving you two enchanting days to soak in the holiday spirit.
Shop & Stroll
Wander through a sparkling winter wonderland with your exclusive collector’s mug in hand while browsing over 60 vendors offering artisan gifts, handmade crafts, gourmet treats, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
Young Entrepreneurs
Be inspired by the creativity of our youngest makers as they showcase their innovative spirit at their own booths.
Santa’s Magic
- Write heartfelt letters with the help of Santa’s elves, and all letters receive a response from Santa.
- Strike a pose at one of our themed photo backdrops

- Trolley rides through town with stops for woodcarving demonstrations, a petting zoo, and family activities on Saturday and select activities on Sunday

🌲 Tree Lighting Ceremony
The Saturday culminates in Brookfield’s dazzling tree-lighting celebration in front of the historic Grossdale Station, a radiant moment of community pride and joy.
This cherished holiday celebration is made possible by the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Brookfield, ensuring a truly unforgettable start to your holiday season.

Annette Pardun, owner of Fill My Jar, was the creative force behind the 2023 Kris Kringle Mug, which has set a high bar for artistic design. As we look forward to the 2025 edition, we're excited to open the doors for artists everywhere to contribute their vision and talent. This is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about art to leave their mark on a beloved tradition and to be part of a community that celebrates creativity and craftsmanship. Let's make the 2025 Kris Kringle Mug a mosaic of global artistry!

2025 Kris Kringle Mug Art Contest — Guidelines
Theme: Capture the essence of Brookfield, Illinois, during the holiday season.
Who Can Enter
- Open to all ages and skill levels, first-timers to seasoned pros.
- Illinois residents only.
- Original work by the submitting artist (no AI-generated, stock, or copyrighted elements you don’t own).
What You Can Submit
- Any medium is welcome—experimental and mixed techniques encouraged.
- No limit on the number of images you can submit.
- Artwork will be printed in black & white on the official Kris Kringle Market mug.
File Specs & How to Submit
- Format: JPG
- Recommended quality: 300 DPI; at least 3000 px on the longer side (to ensure crisp print)
- Email to: brookfieldfarmers@gmail.com
Include your name, mailing address, and phone number in the email.
Public Showcase (Not Voting)
- All submissions will be posted on the Brookfield Farmers Market website and social channels for public viewing only (no public voting).
Deadline
- Friday, November 1st, 2025, at 5:00 PM (CT).
Selection & Notification
- The Kris Kringle Committee will review all entries and select the winner.
- The winner will be notified by Friday, November 7, 2025 (before public announcement).
Prize & Recognition
- $250 cash prize + two (2) keepsake mugs featuring your design.
- Credit on our website/social media—and your art will land in 800 homes across Illinois!
Usage Rights
- By submitting, you grant the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce / Brookfield Farmers Market a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce your artwork on the mug and in related event promotions (digital and print).
- You retain all copyrights to your work.
